Looking for ways to improve your clinical practice within a supportive and creative community? Consider joining our 2021 psychodrama ongoing training group to be offered in Clearwater Florida. No previous psychodrama experience is necessary. Groups will be forming so let us know if you are interested and we can discuss your individual needs. Psychodrama uses action methods to help clients live more fully in the here and NOW, make peace with the past, and envision their future. This ongoing in-person group meets monthly for 10 months and participants will have the opportunity to:

learn the philosophical theories supporting psychodramatic action

experience the roles of protagonist, auxiliary ego, and director

build confidence and expertise in creating safety and using action with clients

practice psychodramatic techniques such as: role reversal, doubling, future projection, mirroring, magic shop, and many more

become aware of the indications and contra-indications of using psychodramatic action in your practice

be part of a monthly supportive and caring learning community

work towards becoming a Certified Practitioner of Psychodrama, Sociodrama, and Group Psychotherapy (if desired)

Julie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of Human Services experience. She has a private practice in Clearwater and offers training opportunities to various healthcare and social services organizations.
She is also a Certified Practitioner and Trainer, Educator, and Practitioner of Psychodrama, Sociometry and Group Psychotherapy.
